Hotel La Casona Dorada - Santo Domingo

I experienced several challenges with the dining service. The breakfast options were disappointing and poorly restocked, not meeting my expectations. I encountered some glitches that, while handled quickly, did affect my overall experience.

Got Wheelchair Accessible room with the jacuzzi and refrigerator, for instance as expected. Had a shower, a hairdryer and a spa bathtub in the bathroom.

Great hotel with good food and marvellous location just off the Dominican Republic and Santo Domingo. Attentive staff, always with a smile. Good bar area. Pleasant overall experience.

Wi-Fi was on and off in the room.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel! I really loved the cozy spa lounge and the refreshing outdoor pool that helped me unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the bathroom latch was a bit odd, but it didn't ruin my stay at all. 😊

Comfortable bed, clean facilities, the poolside snack bar offered refreshing drinks right next to the clean pool, making it ideal for relaxation after a long day exploring the city.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the room could use some improvement, as I noticed dust accumulation. I appreciate the service and location but hope to see better housekeeping in the future.

Though breakfast could use more variety, the central location made exploring easy. A minor hiccup with the early pool hours, but overall, the stay had a safe, friendly atmosphere.

Friendly staff, excellent wi-fi!

Despite the mention of surveillance, the hotel's unresponsive management during this crisis was disappointing. Although the room was spacious, clean, and had great air conditioning, and free breakfast was offered, the negative experience overshadowed these aspects. The refusal to refund our remaining nights after leaving only added to our distress.

This venue in a fantastic location has friendly and attentive staff, a good restaurant, impressive and spacious rooms with a jacuzzi, and a variety of delicious food options.

The rooms here are newly renovated and come with a jacuzzi, as well as amenities like climate control, a safe, and multi-channel television.

The staff at the hotel are very nice and courteous. The location of the hotel is great, close to shopping areas, the beautiful sea of the Dominican Republic, Zona Colonial, and various shops and restaurants. There's a nice restaurant, La Fabrica Contemporanea, right next to the hotel for lunch or dinner.
